We stock our own apple juice & cider all year round, whilst honey and other conserves feature seasonally.
We are always looking to increase our own product range so keep an eye throughout the shop. Some of our products are discounted for loyalty card holders so make sure you sign up in the shop, cafe or HERE!
Apple Juice

Philip & James have handpicked a selection of single apple varieties, each chosen for its unique flavour that shines during the season. From the sweet, crisp notes of Discovery, to the zesty sharpness of Elstar, and the timeless favourite, Cox, there's something for every palate. During the peak of the season, we offer up to 18 different varieties, so don’t miss out—join us for Apple Day at Lathcoats to sample them all! Or, stop by the Farm Shop, where our knowledgeable staff are eager to guide you through the perfect apple juice pick.
For those seeking something a little different, we also offer vibrant blends with exciting flavours like raspberry, elderflower, and ginger—perfect for any occasion.
Our freshly pressed apple juice isn’t just delicious, it’s also a fantastic non-alcoholic option for special celebrations. Looking for a personal touch? We can create bespoke labels for you, whether you choose larger bottles for the table or small ones as thoughtful party favours.

Sparkling Cider
Our Sparkling Cider is crafted in partnership with the expert brewers at Biddenden Vineyards in Kent. This delightful blend is made with handpicked apples from our very own orchards at Lathcoats Farm, featuring the unique flavors of Dabinett, Kingston Black, and Gala varieties.
Once harvested, the apples journey south to Biddenden, where their team presses, brews, and carbonates this beautifully balanced medium sparkling cider. The result? A crisp, refreshing cider that’s exclusively available at Lathcoats Farm Shop.
And if you’re craving something even more refreshing, don't miss our Summer Fruits Cider – the perfect sip for those long, warm evenings. It’s the taste of summer in every drop!
Sparkling Apple Juice
We also offer our delicious apple juice with a delightful sparkle, conveniently packaged in a can. It’s the perfect refreshment to pick up from the Farm Shop or to enjoy while relaxing on the terrace at The Bee Shed Coffee House.
Honey
We’re proud to partner with The Natural Hive, who manage around 20 hives right here on the farm. The result? Some truly irresistible, locally-produced honey that’s as fresh as it gets! Be sure to stop by and grab a jar—just be quick, as it’s subject to seasonal availability!

Fruit and Vegetables
At Lathcoats Farm, we’re proud to grow an impressive range of over fifty varieties of apples, as well as strawberries, raspberries, and cherries to name a few (over 20 crops in all!).
And that’s just the beginning! We offer a wide selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, all carefully grown on the farm and complemented by locally sourced produce wherever possible. It’s the best of the season, right at your doorstep!
The Bakery
Breads, cakes and more...
Every morning, we freshly bake a tempting range of rolls, baguettes, cobs, and loaves right here on site. Plus, we’re lucky to work with Ravens, the talented artisan bakers from Ingatestone, who supply us with their beautifully baked bread.
But that’s not all! Ravens also provide us with a mouth-watering selection of cakes and sweet treats, all available in our farm shop bakery. And for those with dietary preferences, we offer a fantastic range of free-from cakes and treats, so everyone can indulge!
Pies and Pastries
We offer an irresistible range of top-quality pies, pasties, quiches, and pastries, perfect for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike.
From hearty steak and Guinness to creamy chicken and leek, our pies are available fresh and frozen. We also have a fantastic selection of ready meals and delicious vegetarian options, so there’s something for everyone.
In our chiller, you’ll find all your savoury favourites—pasties, sausage rolls, plaits, pork pies, and quiches—along with a tempting variety of ready-to-bake croissants and pastries in the freezer.
To complete your meal, we’ve got a range of frozen vegetables, stir fry mixes, cooked potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and more, making it easier than ever to create a delicious, satisfying feast!
Meat, Poultry and Fish
Essex and Suffolk are home to some truly exceptional small family producers who take immense pride in crafting the finest quality meat and fish.
From Sutton Hoo’s free-range chicken to the mouthwatering sausages from Wicks Farm, we’re proud to offer a fantastic selection of local meats and fish from trusted farms and producers.
Need something special? We’re happy to take custom orders and even offer a pre-ordering service for Christmas turkey, goose, ham, and beef—ensuring your festive feast is nothing short of spectacular!

We offer a thoughtfully selected range of plants for your garden, with the majority grown either on or just a mile from the farm.
From beautiful heathers and hellebores to vibrant spring bulbs and fragrant summer lavender, our range is perfect for adding a touch of local charm to your outdoor space.

Beer, Wine and Cider
We’re proud to offer an exceptional selection of beer, wine, cider (including our own Sparkling Apple or Summer Fruits Cider), and spirits, with most of our range sourced right here in Essex and the surrounding areas.
With local gems like Chelmsford Brew Co, Ridleys, Maldon Brewing Company, and Leigh-on-Sea Brewery just around the corner, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to fantastic, locally-brewed beers. For wine lovers, look no further than New Hall Wine Estate in Purleigh, where they craft top-notch whites, sparkling wines, and even reds from grapes grown on their vineyards near Maldon. It’s the best of Essex, all in one place!
Soft Drinks

Our colourful range of natural fruit cordials and sparkling drinks is crafted in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, offering everything from refreshing elderflower and zesty ginger and chili, to tangy sloe and raspberry lemonade. The Dairy
Essex is home to some incredible dairy suppliers, and we’re thrilled to showcase the very best!
From Bradfields Farm in Wickford, who provide us with wonderfully fresh milk and indulgent, creamy yoghurts, to the award-winning Saffron Ice Cream Company, whose range of ultra-creamy ice creams will satisfy any sweet tooth.
Our chiller is stocked with an irresistible selection of fine cheeses, luxurious creams, decadent yoghurts, and much more, offering something to please every palate. Perfect for treating yourself or sharing with others!
