Frequently Asked Questions about PYO:
How does it work?
You come and pick fruit into your own containers or containers that we can sell you. You take the fruit to the check out, we weigh it and you pay for what you have picked.
Do we have to pay for all we have picked?
Yes. If you are worried about picking too much bring you containers back to the check out for weighing to see how you are getting on.
Can we eat while we pick?
No. We used to be quite relaxed about this but in the last 2 years it has been getting out of hand with some people eating in the field as much as they put in their containers.
Can we bring dogs into the PYO fields?
No, but they are welcome in the orchard that serves as a car park as long as someone stays with them.
Do you accept coach parties?
No.
Do you have facilities such as a coffee shop or restaurant?
No. Unfortunately we don't have the car parking space to accommodate the longer stays that such facilites would require.

Our PYO calendar shows the usual seasons for the 9 different crops we grow from strawberries to plums. NB we do not do PYO apples. We can not accommodate coach parties.
