Pick Your Own update

Posted 08 June 2019

We saw some very nice fruit picked in the PYO today and there should be some more to pick on Tuesday 18th June between 9 and 5. The forecast is poor for the middle of the week and it is possible that we may have to close for a day or two to allow more fruit to ripen. We will decide each evening if we can open the next day, so make sure you check here for up to date information on opening..

Please read the following to help you plan a successful visit:

ALWAYS check on the morning of your planned visit that we are going to be open that day. Although we would like to be open every day, sometimes, because of bad weather or a shortage of ripe fruit, for instance after a very busy weekend, we may have to close for a day or two to allow more fruit to ripen.

Prospects for the next day’s picking will be updated every evening on Facebook, our website and on our recorded phone message 01245 353021 Option 3

During busy weekends the main Pick Your Own carpark may be full, and you may not be able to park there. There is additional parking on the other side of the road which involves a short drive down a farm track to a grass field and a walk back up the track and across the road to the pick your own fields. So, as you approach the farm along Beehive Lane look out for signs and/or marshals who will direct you to turn left or right depending on where there is parking space
