Apple Day 2019

Posted 02 September 2019

Apple Day this year will be on Saturday 19th October, from 10-4pm. Admission is free and everyone is welcome and this year features our first Apple Day photographic competition (see below).

Sample the delights of 40 varieties of English apples grown in our orchards, taste our single variety apple juices and our cider. Explore food from around the region with our farmers' and producers' market comprising the wonderful people who supply our farm shop with delicious, high quality food all year round, from bread to pies and chocolate!

Enjoy our mini Octoberfest in the Packing Shed with cider, gin cocktails and local beers from around Essex. Fantastic locally produced musicians David and James Delarre will be weaving their musical magic throughout the day.

There'll be masses to keep the children entertained from tractors (large and small) to craft, donkey rides, old fashioned fairground rides and PYO pumpkins.

This year in a change from recent years we will be launching our first Apple Day Photographic Competition. Open to everyone, with categories for under and over 18's, smartphones/tablets and cameras, our themes are Harvest and Nature in Autumn. Full details can be found on our Apple Day events page and you can upload your photos and enter the competition here
